New Orleans Cafe

The Facade of New Orleans Cafe
Last weekend, I've been to The New Orleans Cafe, just as we thought it was another typical coffee shop only to find out that it is more than that. Located at J.P. Laurel Ave, Bajada, Davao City, fronting DCWD (Water District), you can easily notice it if you're traveling north. We as family make it a point that we get to eat together, at least on a Sunday/once a week, the best thing about this is I get to eat good food for free hehehe. So Sundays for me is family time. Period. Because the family that eats together, stays together and grows together haha

With my Baby Brother no more... O diba andaming pillows!!
They only not offer coffee, desserts and sandwiches but main entrees as well, the New Orleans style. The interiors are very chic and light and couches are comfy too, some are even filled with lots and lots of pillows! Their food servers were all dressed up in black and suspenders, with metallic-colored fedora hats. They also have free wifi connection by the way. The food is reasonably priced, comparable to restaurants at the Malls. Maybe next time around will be trying their desserts and coffee.

We didn't had coffee since it's lunch already so we tried their main entrees for that day. The shop have two floors, we stayed upstairs since they have more seats for bigger crowds. There is also a mini function room for meetings and a veranda upstairs for those who wanted the outdoors or have some smoke perhaps.

I love their purple and lilac walls... Very dainty and girly ;p
Dessert Station
I really have no idea what New Orleans style of cooking is, but this is what we had, some of the entrees we ordered were also their best sellers/specialty and signature dish. I like the whole experience, very homey, I can stay there all day hehe :)

Cheese Sizzlers a.k.a. Cheese Sticks!

Chicken Skewers

Their own version of Chicken BBQ!

Gumbo

Creamy Herbed Chicken over Gnocchi

Forgot to take down notes on this, but this one is more like of seared porkchop over creamy mushroom sauce

Chicken Cordon Bleu ( you can opt for mashed potato instead of rice)
And yes they do serve authentic New Orleans Coffee

Until next food trip!

Bon Appetit!
