Red Kimono - Uniquely Japanese

Red Kimono's warm and cozy interiors

If you are craving for a hearty, yet guilt-free meal, going Japanese is always an option. This is probably one reason why we kept on coming back to Red Kimono. It is a fusion of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine, a place where you can find fancy non-traditional yet tasty Makis. Now, I totally forgot what California Maki is (haha), although Japanese food is not cheap, I assure you that it is all worth it. Red Kimono opened their first branch here in Davao at Abreeza Ayala Mall last year, now Davaoenos can enjoy a different twist of Japanese dining. Although I can also highly recommend some of the Japanese restaurants here in Davao. weee!

Since there are so many Sushis and Makis to choose from,  I suggest that you must try their Maki Sampler, where most of their best seller Makis are on one plate definitely a mouth-watering dish (refer to top photo), this costs around 595 php, and their Ala Carte 6-piece Makis starts from 180 up. They have a wide array of options to choose from one of my favorite is the Tempura Bento, you can never go wrong with that. They also have credit card perks and  promo, at they same time they also give out Privilege cards to their  loyal customers, discounts can be availed when you use it. The family has been here several times, so there is always a reason why we keep on coming back. Well, Mother's Day is coming up, so you might want to treat your beloved Mom with something Japanese. Just saying.  Hehe

Take a peek some of the food items that they offer...

Tempura Bento Set Meal

Pork Katsudon

Japanese Noodles: Yakisoba

Until my next food hunt, too bad i wasn't able to capture their signature dishes that we ordered before huhu. I just love art of good dining. Just watch out for the calories every now and then though. haha
